Launching Europe’s space service
Orbex is Europe’s leading private launch service, focusing on the small satellite industry. With emerging launch areas throughout the continent and in the UK, Orbex needed an identity that would give them a strong, professional voice and that would emphasise the experience that they have in the space industry.
We created a brand toolkit including the primary logo, icons, fonts, a colour palette and a photography style that works together to communicate their energy and passion.
We were then tasked with the design, creation and project management of an event to launch their European offices in Forres, Scotland, while also revealing their new space rocket, Prime. From email invites linked to an rsvp microsite to concept design and management, along with hoisting the rocket to hang from the ceiling, no stone was left unturned. The event achieved huge national press coverage, which included live feeds and 3 evening news bulletins from the major TV channels and around 500 news articles globally so far.
The event was a huge success. Your team did you proud. I know it was not low stress but the results were amazing. We continue to get excellent TV, radio, online and press coverage and accolades from all the guests
We also worked with Orbex to create a bespoke range of branded clothing and accessories. We arranged photography to ensure consistent, high-quality imagery to display them on our newly designed Orbex online shop.
From initial storyboarding to polished final cut, we produced a stylish video showcasing the technology and service Orbex offers from a new spaceport based in the Scottish Highlands.
Working with Orbex we arranged photography to capture their staff working with cutting edge technology. This helped to both reinforce their brand and illustrate their wealth of manufacturing expertise.
Following the brand launch, we created an event stand and collateral to showcase their capabilities at the Farnborough Air Show. The stand was featured in major press publications and throughout the media and was visited by the current PM Theresa May and Tim Peake CMG.
