Dorset is well known for breathtaking scenery, but we were given the brief of guiding the public to some of the counties best kept secrets – the wealth of art and culture that can be found off the beaten track.

In order to help to help visitors find events and exhibitions they might otherwise miss, we devised the idea of creating art trails to take them to see hidden gems – discovering beautiful towns and countryside right across the county

We created a set of eye-catching campaign assets and a fresh creative style. This helped to compliment and enhance stunning landscape photography and show the variety of events on offer.

In addition to a comprehensive digital campaign, we created display collateral for use throughout participating museums and galleries to help generate interest in the creative trails and events.

Exceeded all targets

The team at Fathom developed exciting, creative concepts and a carefully targeted media plan to fit the brief. The first of the two campaigns, an autumn campaign supporting 12 Dorset museums, aimed to encourage visits in Autumn. The campaign was highly valued by the participating museums and exceeded all targets. The Fathom team will deliver a further, Dorset wide, promotional campaign in Spring 2025 utilising existing video footage, with a strong call to action to plan and book a break in Dorset in 2025.
